Setting Agent Properties
For new agents, the default values can be accepted for most fields. The fields that must be configured are database Connections and AWS Connection.
Setting the Database Connection
- Ensure that the default DBConnectionsList is selected.
- Click on Clone and give the new list a name relevant to the agent.
- Click on Edit (the newly cloned list should already be selected).
- Enter the required fields Host, Port, User, and Password. For Host and Port see the instructions for finding the Instance Address. For User and Password see Database User. The remaining fields may be left at the defaults.
- Click Save.
Setting the AWS Connection
For AWS Connection, enter the Primary Cluster Region, IAM Access Key, and IAM Secret Access Key. Use the region the standalone cluster was created in, or for global clusters, use the region of the primary cluster. Enter the access key generated in Access Key.
