The DocumentDB cartridge includes a set of predefined rules summarized below. You can change default threshold values or scope them to specific settings, typically through registry variables. These rules can be copied, modified, disabled, or customized in various ways. For more information, refer to the Foglight documentation or contact Quest Software PSO.

DocumentDB Buffer Cache Index Requests

Alert if the percentage of index requests served by the buffer cache is below the minimal acceptable value.

Alert if the percentage of requests served by the buffer cache is below the minimal acceptable value.

DocumentDB CPU Utilization

Alert if the percentage of CPU used by an instance is high.

DocumentDB Database Connections

Alert if the maximum number of connections open on an instance is high.

DocumentDB Database Cursors

Alert if the maximum number of open cursors on an instance is high.

DocumentDB Elastic Cluster Availability

Alert if monitored DocumentDB elastic cluster is unavailable two times in a row.

DocumentDB Instance Cluster Availability

Alert if monitored DocumentDB instance-based cluster is unavailable two times in a row.

DocumentDB Instance Cluster Instance Availability

Alert if monitored DocumentDB instance-based cluster instance is unavailable two times in a row.

DocumentDB Low Memory Throttle Queue Depth Requests

Alert if the queue depth for requests that are throttled due to low available memory is high.

DocumentDB Read Latency

Alert if the average amount of time of read latency, taken per disk I/O operation is high.

DocumentDB Replica Lag Maximum

Alert if the average maximum replication lag between the primary instance and the replicas is high.

DocumentDB Swap Usage

Alert if the amount of swap space used on the instance is high.

DocumentDB Volume Write I/O Operations

Alert if the average number of billed write I/O operations from a cluster volume is high.

DocumentDB Write I/O Operations

Alert if the write I/O Operations number per second is high.

DocumentDB Write Latency

Alert if the average amount of time of write latency , taken per disk I/O operation is high.
